Tasty food, good service, and reasonable prices. I'll definitely be going back the next time I'm in town. Even had a few toys for my daughter to keep her occupied.

It's an institution of breakfasts, service was excellent and food delicious. Big portions and an extensive menu.

Went from high quality, well cooked food, to absolute garbage. This place has gone down hill. My bacon literally looked and tasted like 12 hour old McDonalds bacon. I left feeling sick to my stomach. This was our breakfast spot for years, was the best in town, but now we will not be going back.

Food is always fresh. Best hash browns ever deep fried I’m guessing. Eggs Benny’s are great with rich hollandsise. Everything seems like the chef cares.

We ate breakfast here and it seems a really popular place. Yet the coffee was not fresh.

Always a pleasure to drop in here when I get to Courtenay. Friendly, casual service and great selection of traditional breakfast and lunch items along with some great innovations. Great prices too!

Went for brunch. Was surprised how many people were in there on a Wednesday morning. I tried the farmers omelette. Wasn't a fan of the ham so I picked out. Still tasted a bit off, I may not have liked the sausage either. BF thought I was crazy as he liked. Other reason for a lost star.. they had a crumby selection & brands of tea. Spend the extra buck &Ebro game in the good stuff. Christine was great though!

Really love this restaurant! Friendly staff and delecious food, the only thing we struggle with is instead of high chairs for the babes they only have booster seats that weren't quite age appropriate for our babies.

Had lunch there...and then 2 hours later, developed explosive diarrhea! I normally wouldn't leave a review for something like that, but when I called the restaurant to let them know (nicely), the lady was condescending, stating "it doesn't happen that fast". Well, let me tell you, I know my body very well and it does happen that fast with me. I didn't expect anything, thought you would appreciate knowing....I know I would as a business owner!! You should listen to your customers a little more. I gave it two stars because of the very nice waitress.

This place has a great feel, and great food. It's friendly, warm and just a classic spot. My breakfast was delicious, but in particular I want to focus on the sausage. This could have been the most delicious sausage I've ever had, and I've had a lot of sausage. It was the "Tannadice Sausage", and if you're from Vancouver Island you might be familiar with this local farm, but I was not. When I am back on Vancouver Island I will go out of my way to get to Michael's Off Main and chow down on some tasty breakfast!

As someone who rides a bike all year around and supports bike lanes I would never support your business .

Though the service was great and the food was Underwhelming Had the ham and eggs special with marble rye toast. Ham portion was small and my toast was soggy.

Consistently good food. Some of the tables are not tall person friendly but the staff is always accommodating to seat us at a table that is better suited for me. Atmosphere is great and welcoming.

It's a small establishment with limited seating. I went there early, with my daughter, to meet my friend for brunch. They said it would take 10 min. for a table and that is precisely how long we waited. I shouldn't have cream in my coffee and they had almond milk as an alternative. Everything we ate was delicious and our brunch started us off for a productive completion of our day. I was super satisfied with my visit.

The food is good. It’s not amazing, but you’ll leave full and happy. However, my last experience was lacklustre.My fiancé and I were seated and waited about 15 minutes before we were given a menu. We waited another 15 minutes for our drink order to be taken, by which point we had our respective breakfasts ready to order as well. There were no napkins on the table (aside from the ones our cutlery was wrapped in), and I didn’t get a spoon to stir the cream and sugar into my coffee.Staff were friendly, the FOH just seemed to be severely understaffed, which is unfortunate as the Farmer’s Market is a block or two away and Michael’s is one of 2 breakfast spots nearby to fill up pre or post market shopping.This isn’t going to prevent me from dining here again, as I do enjoy the generous breakfast dishes. Hopefully just a one off experience.

I am a retired chef and have always worked in first class hotel's and restaurant,s I had the waffle combo this was the best sit down breakfast I ever had I have been back 3 times and still the best I ever had thank you

The french toast is soooo good, and comes in portions that would resemble a quarter-baguette, like the ones you would get for store-bought garlic bread. I'd recommend the three-slice if you are quite hungry or are looking for a bite to take home.

Food is tasty and portions were a good size. We had breakfast and we both had their home made pancakes. They were good except they were quite tough and dense. But still good.

Great cozy place with alot of character inside, staff was friendly and accommodating with a large group. Food options and price was excellent but portions were a little small with pancakes. But entirely a must-try if you're in the area.

Deeeeelish eggs benny! The server, who was absolutely charming, suggested the seafood Benny (from the specials of the day menu), WOW! Great value, service and cleanliness. 5 stars!

Food was really good, nice atmosphere but took us almost an hour from entry to when we got to eat.

The benedicts here are amazing. I've been at least five times and every time is a great experience. The coffee is good, the service is quick and friendly. The atmosphere is really enjoyable with all the art on the walls.

Sandwich was very tasty. Salad was not so great. I had the caesar salad

Everything was over cooked. Scrambled eggs looked like an omelette with out filling or cheese, it was dry and way over cooked it was brown on the outside. Bacon and sausage way over cooked reminded me of bacon bits, sausage crispy at the ends. Don't know how they managed to over cook everything but they did!
